Our ‘Self-Sufficient Luxury Home on Kauai’s North Shore’ has generated interest among the more sustainability-minded buyers for real estate on Kauai. During a recent showing, Miriam Perlmutter, R(S) shot this video of the custom, free-form, saline swimming pool.
When I first moved to Kauai in 1994, I thought it was so strange that people had swimming pools. After all, on the north shore, you’re always only 5-10 minutes away from some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
Then I moved into a house with a pool. I have to say, it was awesome. Swimming at night under the stars, or early in the morning for some exercise… I was hooked. I taught my nephew how to swim in that pool. We had a lot of fun.
So, even though this home on acreage is just down the street from Rock Quarry’s Beach (Kahili Bay) in Kilauea… I think this pool is going to be used by some very happy swimmers.
