Waiea Grand Penthouse – $36M of Luxury in the Sky

The Waiea Grand Penthouse at Ward Village in Honolulu is an amazing $36,000,000 property overlooking the ocean and Honolulu. Hawaii Life hosted a party at this exclusive listing, giving Honolulu Realtors a preview to this ultra-luxury condo. It was breathtaking to be in this home in the sky. The event was hosted at night, and while blue ocean was completely black, the city lights from the 36th floor were mesmerizing.

It’s not everyday that one gets to spend time at such a unique property. The recently finished Waiea Grand Penthouse is currently the most expensive condo in Honolulu. The residence is listed with Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers’ Erik Hinshaw. It is an absolute honor to have Hawaii Life representing this bespoke home.

The Waiea Grand Penthouse Experience

The elevator doors opened and the wow began. From the moment I entered the Waiea Penthouse, I was captivated by the high ceilings and the welcoming atmosphere. This 10,076 sqft condo was designed by award-winning architect James K.M. Cheng and WCIT Architecture, and captures the natural beauty of Honolulu from within the unit by opening it up with a wall of glass to the outside.

The building is located on the front parcel of the Ward Village master plan, and has an unobstructed view of the ocean over Ala Moana Park. The Penthouse during the day has a bird’s-eye view of the spectacular waters of Hawaii, Waikiki, Downtown, and Kewalo Harbor. With high floor to ceiling glass, outdoor beauty is seen clearly in every direction. In the evening, the view is transformed to the sparkle of city lights. While the Waiea Grand Penthouse residential area is completed and already furnished, the private pool and pool house are still under construction, but are scheduled to be completed in the upcoming weeks.

Guests of the event strolled through the entire residence in admiration and in preparation of showing the unit to prospective clients. There’s nothing ordinary about this property. The unit comes with its own private garage and elevator. It has 360-degree views of Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean, has its own private pool, and is in the best location in Honolulu. Everything about this Waiea Penthouse is stunning. The Master bedroom, as would be expected, has a lanai facing the ocean, and the bedroom faces Diamond Head through a wall of glass that forms a clear wave. The east exposure will make for a spectacular morning view of the rising sun.

Of course, as at many parties, many people ended up in the kitchen. Maybe it was because that is where the desserts were located that drew people to the area, or maybe it was the kitchen itself. The large island offered more than enough space for the all the sweets. The kitchen is large but at the same time very functional. Together with a dining area, it will become a gathering space for the new owners, their guests and friends. While we had an evening view, the daytime view of Ala Moana/Waikiki would be amazing from this kitchen and dining area.
