Three Amazing Reasons to Visit Maui This June

Maui is a destination of choice for many vacationers…but it holds a special place for all of us who live in the state of Hawaii, too! Every island has its own unique beauty and vibe.

Whether you’re a Maui resident looking for some fun things to do this month, or you’re a resident of one of Hawaii’s other beautiful islands wanting a summertime staycation here in your home state, June is an ideal month to visit Maui.

Especially over the weekend of June 15, 2019! There are so many amazing events happening that weekend! You’re sure to have an action-packed, memorable trip. Here’s what’s going on…

Beach Cleanup with Surfrider Maui

Okay, so you’re thinking “cleanup”…on my staycation? There’s more to this event than making an amazing impact on the beautiful Maui environment, and leaving this special place better than you found it. Read on, weekend warriors!

Baldwin Beach

Hawai‘i Life is joining forces with the Surfrider Foundation’s Maui chapter for this beach cleanup event at Baldwin Beach Park in Pa‘ia, Maui on June 15, 2019. The company’s Maui real estate agents and brokers are committed to making this a fun-filled and impactful event for the community, complete with a free morning yoga class and complimentary food and refreshments provided by local businesses to all volunteers. Think island java, pizza and shave ice … all free to you just for helping out.

“Caring for our community by supporting Surfrider Maui’s beach cleanup is a natural fit for us at Hawai‘i Life. Getting involved in our community is a big part of our ethos and our practice,” said Winston Welborn, chief design officer and founder at Hawai‘i Life. “We have an office in Pa‘ia and it’s a surf town that we love because it has the same feel as Hanalei, where we started Hawai‘i Life just over 10 years ago.”
