Maui Weekend Events – May 26

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has some fun in store for everyone. We have Kihei 4thFriday to look forward to. Also this Friday evening, the Four Seasons is hosting A Taste of Italy, pairing wines with Italian food under the stars. Saturday afternoon offers Reggae in the Garden at the South Maui Gardens. And for late night fun, the cocktail showcase at Mala Tavern features Rittenhouse Rye this Saturday night. And finally, it’s also graduation week! Special acknowledgment to my alma mater, Seabury Hall, which will be hosting graduation festivities this week. Congratulations to all the graduates and families. Best of luck on all the new beginnings!

A Taste of Italy at the Four Seasons

The Four Seasons Resort Maui is hosting A Taste of Italy this Friday at 5:30 pm. Dining under the stars featuring wines curated and presented by Resort Wine Director Aaron Wood-Snyderman and cuisine by Ferraro’s Chef de Cuisine Russel Rummer. This event is sure to be a delight to the senses. Contact Resort Concierge at (808) 874-8000 for reservations. Reservations are required and pricing begins at $190 per person.

Tavern Shakedown – Cocktail Showcase

We are about half-way through the Shakedown series hosted by Mala Tavern so I wanted to remind you about this. The Shakedown takes place every 4th Saturday of each month featuring a different spirit. Each Mixologist gets a box of mystery ingredients and a spirit to craft a cocktail. This week’s featured mixologists are Ryan from the Sugarcane Dane and Rio from Duckine. The featured spirit is Rittenhouse Rye. Doors will open at 10:00 pm. No cover charge and drink tickets available for purchase

Kihei 4th Friday Town Party

Kihei 4th Friday town party takes place on the fourth Friday of every month. This is such a fun event for the family with over 20 food truck vendors and plenty local retail vendors. There is also a keiki zone with face painting, balloon twisting, hula hoops, bubbles and quick science.

Reggae in the Garden

Hawaii’s own The Lambsbread will be playing at South Maui Gardens this Saturday, the 27th. Joining them will be Messenjah Selah and opening is Kololu, Anthony Pfluke and EB Flow. Gates open at 4:20 pm. There will also be craft vendors, fresh coconuts, henna tattoos live art and a Kava Bar sponsored by Aumakua Kava Lounge. Food trucks on site offering a great variety. Tickets range from $25 – $100. Check out Eventbrite for tickets and more.
