Maui Weekend Events – February 16

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui brings Whale Tales, an adult formal and some live music options. The 18th Annual Whale Tales takes place this weekend at the Ritz Kapalua. The Maui Ocean Center is hosting a Winter Formal this Saturday night. Streetlight Cadence performs the MACC this Friday night. And Sunday afternoon is annual sell-out, Broadway Pops.

Streetlight Cadence

Folk lovers will enjoy Streetlight Cadence at the MACC’s McCoy Studio Theater this Friday night. Show starts at 7:30 pm. Doors and food service from 5:30 pm.

Maui Pops Orchestra – Broadway Pops

This annual show sells out every year. This year, Broadway Pops features vocalists Morgan James and LaKisha Jones. They join the Maui Pops Orchestra in a celebration of your favorite music from Broadway and beyond. They are performing Sunday afternoon at the MACC’s Castle Theater. Show starts at 3:00pm. Doors and food service from 1:00 pm.

Both shows at the MACC will be collection sites for donations for the Maui Food Bank. Bring items needed by our neighbors affected by the wildfires.

Sharks After Dark Adult Night

Maui Ocean Center is hosting a 21-and-over Winter Formal this Saturday from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. This event will feature upbeat music by DJ Amy Schorr. Gourmet food and drink will be on hand with a full-service bar. Diver presentations and Humpbacks of Hawaii screenings for your entertainment. Tickets $25 in advance or $35 at door.

Whale Tales at the Ritz Kapalua

The annual Whale Tales returns to the Ritz Carlton Kapalua this weekend from February 16th – 18th. This is an opportunity to learn about the latest in whale research and conservation from leading scientists, photographers, filmmakers, and conservationists. All presentations will be live streamed so you can tune in even if you can’t be there in person. Registration required to attend in person or view live stream.
