ADU Extension Bill passes Kauai County Council

Kauai’s County Council voted in favor of Bill 2322, which extends the deadline to construct an Additional Dwelling Unit to 2014.  Similar to the previous extension passed in 2006, this bill also will only allow for owners who have obtained their Facilities Clearance Form (and other requirements) to construct an Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU).

In an interestingly-titled article, The Garden Island Newspaper covered the story:

The Proposed Bill is expected to be signed by the Mayor.  Let us know if you’d like a copy.
