Lahaina Shores 202 (MLS# 372947) is now available for $545,000. Watch the sunrise over the West Maui Mountains from the bedroom and living room. Currently vacation rented and managed by the Maui resident owner. She rents through VRBO and other venues for an average of $225 a night, up to $325 during high seasons. This condo also can be rented on a month-to-month basis for $7,500 in the high season. If new buyers of 202 wanted to rent through Classic Resorts at Lahaina Shores, the published rate on a 1-bedroom is $360. Keep in mind that Lahaina Shores is a Pooled Program.
The monthly association fees include electricity, which is great for Lahaina due to the high costs of electric and need for AC in the summer. Fees are based on square footage on each unit and projected in October for the following year. Basically, $900 as maintenance, $921 as reserves, $530 as utilities.

202 is located on the South side of the condo, which is generally considered the quiet side as it is away from the Luau and 505. A single-family home is currently being built on the property directly to the South of Lahaina Shores. This will be a temporary nuisance, but with the dust curtains already up, you get an idea of where the construction will be. You can still see the ocean from the patio of 202. The pounding afternoon sunlight is blocked with the South-East orientation of this condo. A favorite afternoon ritual at Lahaina Shores is gathering out front to watch the whales (in season) and sunsets and chat with the neighbors over a cool iced tea or Mai Tai.
Infrastructure work such as plumbing and recently renovated exterior, pool and lobby is finished and Lahaina Shores is looking great. Condos are in high demand! Other great things about this resort beside the sandy beach out front with private entrance is the barbecue area, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, indoor storage, central air-conditioning and covered parking. Guests have a card to privately enter and exit the 505 shopping center.
