What Brought Me Into Real Estate?

Over my short 60+ years on earth, I have dabbled in a multitude of occupations and careers. No regrets on any of them as each experience built character and enriched my soul. It wasn’t until my early fifties that I turned on the “Open for Business” light in real estate. I had done a good number of transactions in my personal life, buying and selling existing homes, vacant lots, and building custom homes for my wife and me. We enjoyed the process so much it was time to commit and enroll in real estate school to convert my passion into a business.

Years later, and now with many stories to tell, I have successful completed millions of dollars in transactions. Whenever I achieve the goal of searching out the perfect location, be it a home, condo or vacant lot for my customer, I’m reminded of why I choose real estate as a profession. Sure it’s long hours and way more paperwork than I wish was necessary.. but the rewards far outweigh the sometimes pesky details.

Meeting New People Who Aspire to Change

I am one who loves to mix it up keeping life fresh and interesting. When I work with clients here on the Big Island, most times they are folks with a desire to improve their quality of life and make what can be sometimes difficult choices to meet that goal. I get that .. because I did that.. so we relate immediately. Moving to Hawaii is not an easy task. I enjoy sharing my experience with others about to embark on the process in hopes that it can be of some help and comfort along the way

To this day I remain friends with many past clients and feel a tiny bit responsible for helping them make the change that improved their lifestyle.
