South Maui Vacant Lot in Wailea Golf Vistas with Ocean & Molokini Views

I have several clients who have started considering buying a piece of land to build a house instead of dealing with the lack of inventory and crazy outrageous prices that we’ve seen in the past few months.

If You Can’t Find That Perfect Hawaii Home, Try Some Land

If you haven’t heard yet, market activity for done, “cherried-out” homes and condos are at 2004 levels. Multiple offers, buyers throwing money at sellers to get them to consider their offer…been there, done that, and no one wins in that kind of market. Enough of that, land is what I’m asking you to consider.

The land market is still trotting along. We’ve seen a bump in activity, but nowhere near levels of SFR and condo sales. If you have access to a good architect and general contractor, you may want to give it a try. Keep in mind that you’ll never design a perfect house, however, you can get it much closer to perfect than buying an existing one.

Ocean View Vacant Lot For Sale in Wailea

I have an option for you. If you like the Wailea area and you like gated communities, I have a listing at the Wailea Golf Vistas. The lot is just shy of 13,000 square feet and is pretty flat. It is located at the highest point in the subdivision. Come check it out.

Just FYI, the house on the right just closed escrow for a tad under $4 mill.

4291 Wailina Place, Wailea is listed at $1,198,000. It is one of the few vacant gated golf course lots available. The Wailea Golf Vistas support home sales in the $3-4 million dollar range.
