Vista Waikoloa Condos – Centrally Located in Waikoloa Beach Resort

Built in 1990, just two years after the Hilton Waikoloa Village opened as the Hyatt Regency Waikoloa, the Vista Waikoloa was one of the first private resort condominiums on the Kohala Coast.

Using all concrete construction and featuring exceptionally large covered lanais, these units were designed to offer the best of the indoor/outdoor Kohala Coast lifestyle and is conveniently located just a short walk from the ocean and near all of the resort’s extensive amenities.

Commanding a small knoll on the uphill mauka or mountain side of Waikoloa Beach Drive between the Waikoloa Beach Marriott and the Hilton Waikoloa Village, many 2nd and 3rd floor units at the Vista Waikoloa enjoy some ocean views. Some of the upper units will enjoy golf course views.

Floorplans

Three different 2 bedroom floor plans with either 2 or 2-1/2 baths range from, approx, 1230 to 1417 square feet with an additional 380 square feet of privately covered lanai.

The expansive 3 bedroom / 3.5 bath penthouses have 2780 square feet of interior area and with about a 1,000 square foot wrap around lanai for a total of nearly 3780 square feet of living space. As of this article publish date, there is one penthouse for sale at $1.350M, see it here.

Lanai railings have glass panels for protection when the winds get gusty while at the same time providing plenty of natural light and great views.

Amenities

The young saplings that were planted when the Vista Waikoloa first opened have grown and spread into an impressive canopy of mature trees and the immaculately groomed grounds provide residents with their own private tropical garden.

The large pool is equally well suited for fitness enthusiasts and loungers and the lush landscaping offers privacy and protection whether you’re sunning or soaking in the spa. Other amenities include a BBQ area near a covered gathering space as well as a fitness center.

We are a retired couple who would like to rent a condo in this complex, but we are put off by the extra fees. I am a retired teacher, and my husband is a retired family physician. Would anyone be interested in renting directly?
