Nawawa Bay

This beautiful location is located along Hokuli‘a’s Shoreline Historic Park, which spans 140 oceanfront acres. Residents and visitors have the opportunity to bask in the natural beauty of the massive sea cliffs and unique geological features of this extraordinary coastline. Snorkeling is also a big attraction along this coastline with the opportunity to view spinner dolphins or migrating humpback whales. Go ahead and take part in the incredible ocean views, or sit back and relax, beachside.

Kohanaiki Beach Park

Another popular destination is Kohanaiki Beach Park, also known by locals as Pine Trees. This specific beach is known for surfing activity with a stunning natural reef beneath the water. Feel free to join the beautiful surf or pack a cooler and enjoy Kona’s picturesque sunsets from this spectacular vantage point.

Manini’owali Beach (Kua Bay)

If you’re on a family adventure, Manini’owali Beach (Kua Bay) is the place to go for a unique white sand beach with areas of lava rock sprinkled in between. This beach is known for fun boogie boarding and incredible ocean access to swim. Sometimes visitors will even see honus, also known as turtles, there. Come and enjoy the Hawaiian sun and cool off in the water at this gorgeous beach location!
