Staging Sells Even During Covid-19

Sometimes life changes and we need to move. Which means we need to sell, buy or both, even during unprecedented times. Here in Hawaii, property viewings are a streaming virtual tour of a virtual open house, due to Covid-19 and our state’s guidelines.

How can you differentiate your property from all the others? Home Staging!

Your property will outshine the competition, making the absolute most out of every room, lanai or deck, patio and garden. As I’ve stated in previous blogs, prior to selling the Staging Process starts with the decluttering and cleaning of your property from top to bottom. Your furniture and accessories are Re-Designed or Staging items will be brought in to look more “Viewer Appealing” followed by the Photographer and Video Experts.

In the Time of Covid-19, How does Staging Happen?

With everyone at home during our “Stay at Home or Safer at Home” order, you are wondering how your property can be Staged or more importantly remain Staged for Showings or a Virtual Open House when all the people in your household  “Staying at Home” need to work, play, exercise, cook, etc. and “live” there every day?

As your Realtor and Certified Home Stager, we will put together a plan — following all state Covid-19 guidelines and protocol.

There are 2 Types of Staging: Vacant or Occupied

Vacant is just that. The property is empty of everything including people. Staging can proceed quickly, bringing in all necessary items and remain in place for all Showings or Virtual Open Houses.

Occupied can be more challenging, obviously now due to necessary precautions, but also if your nicer, smaller belongings we would use to Re-Design, are already packed in your shipping container.

This is where I come to the rescue! For every Showing or Virtual Open House I will physically bring in decorative Staging Items, always wearing mask and gloves, transforming your property, appealing to Virtual Viewers, aka: Buyers!

Staging To-Do List

You will have a “to-do” list prior to my arrival: Make the beds, hide the litter box, clear off sinks and counter, etc. This plan allows you to relax between showings.

Yes it is more work for me to Re-Stage a property every time there is a Showing request or we plan a Virtual Open House, but my clients are always worth my time and effort to help Sell their property — and I love Staging!

Note: Buyers must be pre-qualified, masks and gloves worn by all, and a wipe down after every visit by your’s truly.

Staging Sells!

Staging helps Buyers visualize living in the property. Statistics prove that Staged properties sell more quickly and for a higher dollar amount. Staging Sells! Check out my Staged sold properties on my website and visit my art site for more Staging and Art photos.

Something to think about:The price of Staging is less than your first price reduction.”
