Setting Real Estate Sales Records with Design Savvy

As a single parent, I’m here to provide hope to those trying to make it in the high-priced market of Hawaii. My home ownership began when I was in my 20s, and each home I purchased made 20-38% return in equity within four years or less, and each was under contract in less than two weeks. In 2008, when the housing market dipped into crisis, I sold my home for 23% return and was under contract within 2 days.

When I moved to Hawaii to be closer to my parents and family, I shifted careers from winning triathlons to winning for my clients in real estate. I use my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications to perfectly create an aesthetic that appeals to the demographic audience but also TRANSCENDS TO POTENTIAL BUYERS pathos.  This allows properties to spend less time on the market, often garnishing multiple offers, and translates to top dollar for the sellers.

My favorite part of real estate is making a home look like a million dollars without the million dollar budget.

Market Reception

My first listing in Hawaii was as a co-lister for a 2 Bedroom/1Bath condominium at Pawaa Gardens at 1617 Young Street in the heart of Honolulu. See property details on my homepage. The unit had nice renovations but needed staging and marketing to EARN THE SELLER TOP DOLLAR on the sale. I designed and staged the unit, keeping it simple to enhance the clean lines of the new cabinets and tile wood plank flooring. I used a pink accent color to add fun and warmth to the stark elegance of the white walls and grey floors. The professional photographer texted me after his session that he loved how the property looked which was a nice compliment, but the true test was in the market reception.

Setting Price Records in Hawaii

After hosting a broker’s open and one open house, the property received six offers and was under contract in less than two weeks for $40,000 over the highest sales price for the condominium complex. That means the unit set a $40,000 PRICE RECORD for the condominium complex. To own a home in Hawaii is a blessing. If that home can earn some or even more money than your full-time job that’s the winning lotto ticket.
