Yvonne Manipon completed an MA in Arts Administration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Oregon, where she majored in Fine and Applied Arts and Art History. Over the past 30 years she has lived in both Hawaii and the Pacific NW where she has been painting landscapes, investigating the unique qualify of light, textures, movement and atmosphere in each region. All of her paintings are created on location “en plein air.”
