The Maui Dog Blog: Pet Friendly Condos in Maui County – Printable, Alphabetical List

Miss Oscar wears her raincoat at Kapalua – she was a Maui Humane Society Rescue

Perhaps you stay in your condo a few months a year on Maui so you can’t own a dog and don’t want to bring Fluffy over on the plane… well, consider fostering a pup for a week or so! My last Maui Dog Blog outlined the fantastic Beach Buddies and foster programs available at the Maui Humane Society.

So many more condos than I realized are pet friendly… and dogs are so happy to get a break from the kennel for a week or even one afternoon!

Sasha breaks out of the kennel and smells the fresh Maui air for the week!

We live in Puamana where you can have one dog and one other pet like a cat or a bird… There are no restrictions on size of dogs, but we do have a leash law. Not too cool for the pets because they will be shut up in the condo all day or on the porch on a leash; that is why we foster dogs only on the weeks where we are staying in a home with a backyard.

You can take both of them home to Ho’onanea in Lahaina!

Some complexes have limits on size and number of pets; ask your real estate agent for more information when you are looking to purchase a condo.

Service dogs or emotional support animals are allowed in apartments and condos, but wouldn’t you rather have your dog be somewhere where they are welcome?
