Dark Times Birth Beauty #MauiStrong

Our hearts are hurting for our Maui family, neighbors and friends. I’ve lived through hurricanes and even lost property, but nothing compares to the current devastation we are witnessing on Maui. It is heartbreaking.

How to Help

At a time like this, what can we do? What can you do? All of us can do our part. We can pray, we can donate, and we can unite to help those who are suffering. The outpouring of support has been amazing and we are incredibly grateful for our first responders, medical personnel, leaders, businesses, volunteer organizations, and communities for their incredible response to this terrible tragedy.

What has happened is beyond comprehension. It is incredibly sad and tragic. But, dark times can birth beauty. A beauty that might not come out otherwise. And, we are seeing the best and the beautiful in Hawaii’s people. It truly is beautiful to see hearts knitted together with the singular goal to help those on Maui. Those who have lost so much. It’s times like this that strip us of self, resulting in an unexplainable radiance that is reflected in our people who are compassionately and proactively doing their part to help.
