My associate and friend, Judy Shiroma, and I decided to participate in this year’s 2011 Kauai Housing Fair. The fair is free and is held every other year. This year, there were six informational workshops, 25 exhibits, and an open house tour of the Kamamalu at Kaua’i Lagoons development in Lihue.

Vendors were from various areas of the real estate industry, including home building, home-buyer education, insurance, law, Realtors, county public safety division representatives, escrow, finance, and government-assisted housing programs. Tables were available to view from 1 p.m.-8 p.m.
