HawaiiLife › Charitable Fund › Success Stories

Through the fundraising efforts of the HLCF Board of Directors and the generous contributions of Hawai‘i Life agents and clients, the HLCF has donated more than $250,000 to Hawai‘i-based 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits serving the Hawaiian Islands since its inception.

We have leveraged our network to fundraise for the acute needs of Hawai‘i residents facing extraordinary natural disasters, and through the Hawai‘i Love grant program, the HLCF has supported the ongoing needs of local nonprofit organizations throughout the state.

In addition, the HLCF supports Hawai‘i Life agents that give of their personal time working with nonprofits in their local communities. The HLCF has contributed thousands of dollars to support these grassroots community needs that hold a special meaning for our Hawaii Life agents.

The Hawai‘i Life Charitable Fund continues our multi-year commitment to support the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust (HILT) in their land preservation efforts across the state. As a founding member and a member of the Na Koa ‘Aina Distinguished Fellows Program, we are committed to ensuring that Hawai‘i’s special places and abundant natural treasures are protected for future generations to enjoy and use.

Through our involvement with HILT and Hawai‘i Life’s Conservation and Legacy Lands initiative, we hope to contribute to the protection of important Hawai‘i ecosystems, cultural sites, watersheds, agricultural lands, and historic places.

ALEA Bridge, Anaina Hou Community Park, Family Promise of Hawai‘i, Friends of the Children Justice Center of East Hawai‘i, Grow Some Good, Hawai‘i HomeOwnership Center, Hawaiian Community Assets, HOPE Services Hawai‘i, Kahumana, Nā Hale O Maui – A Community Land Trust, Hawaiian Islands Land Trust, RYSE Residential Youth Services & Empowerment, and Surfrider Spirit Sessions.
