Most Ideal Climate
Hawaii’s climate is a temperate climate. Typically a milder temperature and constant trade wind breezes all year long. Fluctuating between dry and rainy season. There are few worries of natural disasters and/or climate related construction requirements, as the climate here is so mild.
Condos – Bang for Your Buck
Condominiums are by far the easiest way to maintain a home. While you do pay for that maintenance with the monthly Home Owner’s Association bill, you do not have to worry about paying a roofer, a landscaper, a painter or any other exterior home contractor. The properties’ insurances and other major expenses will likely be covered by this monthly fee as well. A fee that would inevitably come up if you owned a single family home! But the shared ownership of a condo takes the mental load off of your plate in choosing the best contractor for the job of maintenance. All you have to worry about is your interior design, and what book to read as the sun sets over the ocean out front. Here is one fantastic listing that would fit the bill for a retirement condo. Here is another one.
