Who’s Ready For Some G-Rated Hawaiian Chick Pix?

With all the heavy news lately, I’d like to share a few of my silly chick pix… Chicks gone wild!

One of my favorite shots: a chicken and her baby really getting into lunch at the Burger Shack, Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. Also one of my favorite places for lunch!

Candid chicken photography is a fun but dangerous past-time as I will wander out in the street to get a good photo of a Road Warrior, like this one crossing the street at Wainee and Dickenson street in Lahaina

Which way to the Beach?

Anyone who has visited Hawaii, especially Maui and Kauai, have seen all the chickens doing much more than just crossing the road… Lore is the chicken coops blew over in some of the hurricanes and the chickens started running wild!

A childhood friend started ChickensOfMaui on Instagram and I have become an avid contributor! Joking not joking. Above: Hi-Tech surf shop opens up finally after the pandemic but the chick forgot her mask…

I like the rooster’s morning wake up crow in Puamana but not sure all the visitors feel the same.

Chick entering Maui Memorial hospital to congratulate all the front-line workers… Ok this blog never promised to be educational about Rhode Island Red hens or Hawaiian breeds, just some G-rated chick pix!

Some Hawaiian chicks are natural skateboarders… Chicks gone wild!

Some chicks like the surf check…

Some trashy chicks hang out at the beach park- and hide a bottle of jagermeister or beer for later…

In case you are still reading, some chicks hang out at the Emergency Room…

If you have any good Hawaii Chick pics, submit them to me and I’ll get them on Chickens of Maui Instagram!

Yes, this is my Hawaii Life… I love the Francolin/grouse too…next blog!
