This listing was unfortunately marketed as a fixer, so I was a little perplexed as to why, since it was only built in the mid 80’s and in an area not known for homes having hard lives. So I parked out in front and was even more perplexed when it appeared to be in very good condition, at least on the outside.
Nice curb appeal
It had great curb appeal and what appeared to be a great ocean view all in a gated community to boot. I walked through the front door to soaring ceilings and clean, towering white walls, all punctuated with natural wood trim. I had walked into a time capsule of the 80’s. I expected to see Crystal Carrington and Alexis Carrington Colby going at each other in the pool, but that was not a reality.

Retro Kitchen in Good Condition
The kitchen was the most exciting feature for me. Clean white with cabinets that scream 80’s. A few years ago that was a bad thing, however, as with all trends, this is one trend that is a no-brainer to predict. If the house was in bad condition, that’s a different story, but this baby is well taken care of.
