A lot of opportunity there, but it’s always wisest, I find, to choose a place that is high on other peoples’ lists too. Enter Waikiki Shore, managed by the Castle Hotel program, and the only condo building directly on Waikiki Beach – how desirable is that?
Currently, there are 8 units for sale at Waikiki Shore, 3 studios and 5 one bedrooms. The studios are a great deal, I grant you that, but as this is an income producing place, plus perhaps a retirement destination for you, I would be more inclined to choose one of the one bedroom units. It’ll be more livable on a day-to-day basis for you in the long run, and in the meantime, a one bedroom generally produces a higher income stream.
