Volunteers Needed for Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

Do you want to keep Hawaii beautiful? Are you aware that there is a way for you to do your part? At Hawaii Life, we are passionate about our aina. That is why we participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program — a strictly volunteer program that helps keep our highways clean! We’ve joined hands with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT), the Highways Division, and the Storm Water Management Program. Together, we work to pick up rubbish so that it doesn’t end up in our ocean and litter our beautiful island.

Won’t You Join Us?

We will be meeting on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 8:30 to clean up our Hawaii Life Adopt-A-Highway stretch (Sea Life Park to Waimanalo). Meet us at the State Research Makai Pier (Waimanalo side of Sea Life Park). You provide your energy — we’ll provide safety vests, disposable gloves, and rubbish bags. Together, we’ll do our part in keeping Hawaii clean and we’ll have some fun in the process! For more information, please call Kim Soares (RA) at 808.781.6600.
