Top Maui Real Estate Agents Celebrated at South Maui Gardens

The top 3% of real estate agents on Maui were recognized during a special event at Kihei’s South Maui Gardens earlier this month. Hosted by Fidelity National Title, the occasion honored 58 of the 1,900+ agents on the Valley Isle. I was so grateful to be part of this top-producing group again, thanks to all of my wonderful clients!

April 1, 2022 marked the first time the gathering has been held since 2019. Blue Door Bread & Pizza Company (an organic bakery specializing in artisan breads and pizza) provided the food, and The Maui Photo Bus was on site to capture all the fun. A variety of other local businesses sponsored the evening’s festivities.

“We were so excited to be able to host this event again, after having to take two years off,” said Reta Chin, VP Sales Manager for Fidelity. “These agents should be celebrated – they are truly the best of the best! And the venue was incredible.”

South Maui Gardens has served as Kihei’s garden center oasis since 2011, offering a huge selection of tropical plants, trees, and pottery to homeowners, landscapers, and businesses island-wide. They feature internationally sourced, locally grown plants, plus expert advice on how to care for them.

More recently, though, they’ve established themselves as the place to be on Maui’s south side! With everything from a coffee shop to comedy nights, hula shows, and daily live music performances from Maui favorites like Marty Dread, this thriving Kihei business has quickly become a hub of community activity. This past weekend, they hosted an Easter egg hunt complete with food trucks, music, and prizes. And thanks to their weekly farmers’ and artisans’ market, residents and visitors alike have a great new access point for locally made goods.

On top of everything else, South Maui Gardens now provides a beautiful venue for weddings. Their Prince Building Event Center, constructed with reclaimed wood from the Prince Hotel, features high-beamed ceilings and sliding barn doors, leading out to lush gardens with vintage lanterns, string lights, and cobblestone paths. An indoor/outdoor space in the center of their gardens also offers a scenic setting for special occasions like birthday parties, wedding and baby showers, and company celebrations.

This is exactly the kind of unique local spot that makes south Maui so special! If you have any questions about this one-of-a-kind community – or life on Maui in general, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
