1. Go to the Beach

There are beautiful beaches in Makaha. Top of the list is the Makaha Beach.  Crystal clear water and a white sandy beach are some of Makaha’s unique attributes.  The surfing beach at Makaha is beautiful year round with awesome surf during the winter months. Makaha Beach is best known as the site of one of the early surfing championships where future champions first competed and won.  There are also other beaches to visit such as Yokohama Bay (Keawa‘ula Beach) and Makua Beach.

2. Play Golf

Besides the beautiful stretches of pristine beaches, there are a number of valleys.  Makaha Resort and Golf Course is located in the valleys.  Adjacent to Makaha Golf Club (West), Makaha Valley was designed by William F. 3. Enjoy the Amenities  at Makaha Valley Plantation

Makaha Valley Plantation offers plenty of amenities to its residents which give you lots of “to do” options. There are picnic tables and BBQ areas for relaxing time outdoors. You can play a game or two of basketball on this outdoor court. There are two pools and jacuzzis for residents to enjoy swimming. And they have  tot pools especially for the little ones. There is a  full tennis court surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges!
