The Arbors – Life in the Ewa Plains

Follow the H-1 freeway west bound and take Exit 5A to Ewa onto route 76, Fort Weaver Road. Approximately 10 minutes from the freeway (assuming you are not travelling during rush hour) you will find The Arbors complex on La’aulu Street.

The Arbors is one of the few secured and gated townhome communities in Ewa Beach! It is framed by Fort Weaver Road, Renton Road, Kapolei Parkway and Roosevelt Avenue. These townhomes are 2 bed/2 bath units that have between 1,000-1,100 interior square feet or the larger 3 bed/3 bath model measuring just over 1,500 square feet of living area. Lush golf course views abound for most units since Coral Creek Golf Course meanders just Makai of the complex.

These townhomes were built in the early 90’s and offer great amenities including pool, BBQ area, and club house. Shopping is convenient with grocery stores like Foodland and Safeway nearby along with various small eateries. The big box stores like Costco, Target, and Walmart are just a little further in Kapolei.

Low Inventory

Summer is the “busy season” in real estate and it is exceptionally evident at The Arbors. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 17 sales. The bulk of the sales, 13 to be exact, occurred between the months of May through September. The lowest sale price was $312,000 for a 2 bed/2 bath home. The highest sale price was $465,000 for a 3 bed/3 bath home, making the average $412,000.

Currently, there are 5 active listings with an average list price of $445,000, plus 2 more listings in escrow. Inventory has been low in The Arbors all year, so I’m sure these listings will be scooped up quick!

Broad Appeal

Arbors units usually go quickly since there are so many great perks – nice neighborhood, pet-friendly, good amenities, reasonable maintenance fees, and security – what’s not to love?! Additionally, the close proximity to military installations and affordable prices make this neighborhood appeal to those in the armed forces, first-time homebuyers, and those seeking a sense of community.

As a resident of the area, I am very knowledgeable about The Arbors as well as the other communities on the Ewa Plain. Nothing makes me happier than helping my clients find their dream home to enjoy for many years.
