This phenomenal 240-degree panoramic oceanfront condo has incredible deep blue ocean views from every room. This is one of the reasons we named this unit “Moana” meaning wide expanse of water. The condo is so close to the Ocean you have to go to the edge of the lanai and look down to see the ground. The minute that you walk in the door of this fine residence you are simply blown away with the jaw-dropping views of the ocean and Molokai island permeating through the floor to ceiling glass doors that you see in the video screenshot below. I have been in many different oceanfront properties in Maui and honestly, it’s simply a WOW moment!

Inside RK610 you will find unique furnishings that you would see in a high-end suite including expansive travertine floors, imperial plaster walls, granite counters and extensive use of natural finishes that complement the feel of the Islands. With this, we all felt that the property deserved a bit of a refresh and Laura did an absolutely spectacular job furnishing the property as well as purchasing a few additional items that make this the perfect home away from home. I could use all of the superlatives in the world to describe this space but rather than inadequately doing so, please check out the Matterport tour of this property so you can virtually walk through the residence.

Royal Kahana 610 Accommodations
If you have watched the Matterport tour, you will know that the front door opens to these spectacular views and the living area, to the left you have the second bedroom, which is ensuite and can be made up as a king bed or two twins. You then have the powder room to the right which is perfect for entertaining, and then you have the open living kitchen area, and on the oceanside lives the immaculate ensuite master bedroom. Furthermore, there is a brand new sleeper sofa in the living room that makes up as a queen bed which means that this residence can very comfortably sleep 6. If there are guests staying in the living room, they can easily use the powder room without disturbing any of the bedroom suites.
We get about 320+ days of sunshine in Kahana each year, the water is magical, and there is almost always a nice tradewind breeze to keep that optimal desired temperature in place.
Royal Kahana Location
Royal Kahana is 12-story oceanfront condo that directly adjoins the beautiful Kahana Bay, which is the centerpiece for Kahana Town. Unit #610 is the absolute perfect location within the building being situated on the 6th floor, which is high enough to see everything but not too high as to make you queasy. Additionally, it is located on the northern side of the building looking out towards Molokai Island and the verdant slopes of Kapalua. Steve and Laura were strongly considering a unit at Royal Kahana on the other side of the building, but we all agreed that this location was optimal.
A beautiful Honu relaxing at S-Turns beach recently, the Honu frequently and sometimes Hawaiian monk beach themselves here and we always enjoy their company when they do.
Royal Kahana is located in the heart of Kahana town, which is one of my personal favorites in all of Maui and where I spend a lot of my time. Kahana is located about 10-15 minutes north of Lahaina town and just a couple minutes away from the Kapalua Resort area to the north and a couple minutes south to Kaanapali Resort area. As I mentioned, Royal Kahana directly adjoins Kahana Bay which is a golden sand crescent shaped beach that is perfect for lounging, swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing on the outer reef in the summertime. Simply put, the weather in Kahana is perfect — beautiful sunshine smiles, consistent tradewinds cool and purify, and just the right amount of occasional raindrops to moisturize. Golden sand beaches and breathtaking lush mountainsides of Mauna Kahalawai serve as your playground. Invigorate yourself with the unobstructed views of Lanai and Molokai island.
Directly across the street from Royal Kahana you will find Dollies Pub and Cafe (outstanding pizza and chicken wings and several TVs to watch the big game), a small convenience store, and the highly acclaimed Miso Phat sushi shop where my buddy and owner, Shawn Steadman, has set up a really awesome down to earth sushi experience featuring stellar local selections. Additionally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention another of my most favorite establishments, Maui Brewing Company Kahana’s Brew Pub. In fact, my favorite or at least second favorite beer there is called the S-Turns Pale Ale, which is named after my favorite surf break, S-Turns, located on the south end of Kahana Bay.

The Royal Kahana Resort has the following amenities: lobby and relaxation area on the ground floor, on-site gym, pool, outdoor BBQ grilling area, oceanfront shuffleboard, and grassy lawns to play and relax to while listening to the ocean. Beach Gear – We do provide a large beach cooler, beach bags, beach chairs, and umbrellas but we don’t provide boogie boards and masks and snorkels due to liability and sanitation reasons, but we are happy to point you in the right direction for these items.

While on island, we spend most of our time on the wrap around lanai with our morning coffee taking in the breathtaking view, tend to work emails and end the day back on the lanai with a sunset cocktail. We fully redecorated the condo to accent the stunning blue waters of the Pacific Ocean just outside our windows, complimented by the earth tones to represent the beach and sand areas of the island of Maui that I think we all daydream about visiting. We love the location of the condo close to Lahaina but enough distance it gives you a more peaceful stay. We hope to welcome you to our condo on your next visit to Maui.

We recently stayed at the Royal Kahana in Unit 610. It added to our overall great Hawaii vacation. The unit is wonderful, with plenty of room for 2 couples and has a stunning view with a big lanai to sit on and view the ocean. The unit is well stocked and even had everything needed for a day at the beach, from chairs and umbrellas, to coolers and towels. There is actually a nice beach a two-minute walk from the unit if you want to stay local. We also enjoyed the Beach House and Dollies Pub for dinners within walking distance of the Royal Kahana. Hawaii Life was very easy to work with and made everything seamless. Great property!
