Buying a Second Home in Honolulu – A Never Ending Oahu Vacation

Of all the clients I have assisted over the last 10 years of real estate, my happiest clients started as yearly vacationers coming for a few weeks to enjoy sand and surf, let the world go for a while, and just for a while, remember why it is that they work so hard to provide wonderful things for their families.

They would come and stay at various hotels and enjoy the variety that Waikiki has to offer. Hawaii is such a magical place that they would come back over and over again, exploring the island more and more, every time they came. There would be searches for the best steak, the best seafood, the best beach spot, the best view, the best surf spot, and finally…the best kept secret.

If You’re Going to Vacation on Oahu, Why Not Buy a Home?

The conclusion that many of them came to and are glad they finally came to terms with…a vacation is just a vacation, but when you own a piece of paradise, you just feel like you have experienced a whole new level of oneness with tropical Oahu.

It is not the real estate that makes them feel that way, it is the commitment they have made to make paradise not just a dream, but a tangible part of their lifestyle; a place that they are now certain to return to over and over again, reminding them that this is what life is all about…watching the waves splash upon the shore, soaking in the sun, the sounds of laughter filling the salt air, and their significant other smiling proudly and whispering, “I am so glad we finally bought a little bit of heaven…why didn’t we do this sooner?”

Isn’t it time you considered making Oahu your home away from home?

I completely agree, it’s a great decision no matter which island they frequent. Thanks!
