Savoring the Moments of This Year’s Aloha Aina Realtor Awards Program

Each year the Honolulu Board of Realtors holds its Aloha Aina Realtor Awards Program where they recognize excellence in the real estate industry on Oahu. Realtors can only be considered to win this award by being nominated by a client that they represented and provided service to in a transaction for either the purchase or sale of a home or by managing a client’s property. The award is based on a realtor providing excellent care and going above and beyond the normal expectations of what a Realtor should provide to a client. In other words, the ten winners chosen served their clients in ways that were extraordinarily above the high standard of service expected by the profession.

This was no easy task by a distinguished panel of judges who reviewed 1,575 submissions and considered 672 Realtor nominees, many like myself, who received multiple nominations from various clients they served. The judges reviewed the nominations and selected the top ten that they felt demonstrated the most impactful experience and example of going above and beyond for clients.

I have been a Realtor on Oahu now for over ten years, and each year I’ve been in this industry I have been honored with nominations from clients I serve. This is THE first year I have been selected as a Top Ten “WINNER” of the 2022 Aloha Aina Realtor Awards, and I am so touched by the enormous support from clients, friends, family and colleagues. I’m so grateful to be in this profession to make a difference in the lives of my clients. It is a tremendous responsibility to provide expertise and guidance to people as they go through transitions in their lives and to help them through the process of one of the biggest purchases or sale of a home they will ever make.

Congratulations to all my realtor colleagues who were nominated by their clients for this very special award program. Thank you, once again, to the Honolulu Board of Realtors for this venue to recognize the top realtors for excellent service. It is so refreshing to see an awards program that focuses on service to clients rather than the more common top producer sales awards. When it’s not about the money, it can be a truly extraordinary real estate practice focusing on really making a difference in people’s lives by providing genuine care and aloha while perpetuating the highest standards for excellence in the real estate industry.
