Resort Report – Waikoloa Beach Resort Sales and Prices (Jan. 2011 – Jan. 2012)

Waikoloa Beach Resort Condo Sales

Condo sales in the Waikoloa Beach Resort held their trend in December and January. The best months for sales in 2011 were February through May, which coincides with our high season (Jan – Mar) adding an additional 60 days for escrows started in March to close in May. It will be interesting to see if that trend continues in 2012.

Waikoloa Beach Resort Median Sale Price

A look at the the median price graph shows that the median price jumped to $337,500 in January 2012. There were two condos that closed at $330K and $345K, and it is tempting to say that, with such a small number of closings, this might be an anomaly. But with continuing low inventory, we expect prices will begin to creep back up and only time will tell if this is a new trend.
