Resort Entertainment and Things To Do on Kauai

When visiting our beautiful island, there is so much to see and do during the day. As the evening approaches, many visitors ask what there is to do in the evening.

Several of our resorts offer evening entertainment for your enjoyment. Here is some of the entertainment you may enjoy during our winter months. Remember that entertainment schedules can always change, so I will provide the resort phone numbers so that you can call to confirm and/or make your reservation.

North Shore

You can enjoy comtemporary piano and guitar music nightly from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the St. Regis Princeville Hotel’s Bar. The Mailani Hawaiian Dinner Show is also available on Thursday evenings. Reservations for the dinner show are suggested, and you can call 808.826.9644 for show times and to make your reservations.

South Shore

You can enjoy evening entertainment at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort’s Seaview Terrace every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at sunset, and also enjoy the traditional torch lighting ceremony. The hotel offers a variety of nightly entertainment from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m. you will be able to enjoy a variety of island musicians performing in Stevenson’s Library. The Grand Hyatt also offers a Hawaiian Luau on Sundays and Thursdays. Call the hotel for reservations and times at 808.742.1234.

Also on our south shore, the Sheraton Kauai Resort offers local entertainment on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Garden Pool. Confirm entertainment by calling 808.742.1661.

East Shore

The Shutters Lounge at the Kauai Beach Resort offers food and entertainment nightly beginning at 7:00 pm. There is also live music daily at the Driftwood Bar and Grill from 4:00-6:00 p.m. And don’t miss the Wednesday night dinner theatre production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific.” Call for reservations and confirmation at 808.245.1955.

Monday nights you can enjoy a Tahitian hula show “Hawaii Alive” from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club. Call for reservations 808.245.5050.

Enjoy live Hawaiian music by local musicians every Saturday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Voyager Grill at the Courtyard Marriott Kauai Coconut Beach Hotel. For more information call 808.822.3455.

Hawaii is blessed with many gifted musicians and you owe it to yourself to take the time to enjoy the gift of music that Kauai has to share. You will leave Kauai with a smile on your face and your feet still tapping!

And as you have seen, Hawaii offers some of the most beautiful islands in the world and we believe Kauai has some of the very best real estate available.
