The charity event benefits Hawaii Island non-profit organizations that support the well-being of island youth, environmental conservation and cultural traditions. Over the past 27 years, it has become one of the year’s most anticipated and most successful festivals. The day-long fun includes a Run for Hope 5K Run/Walk beginning at 7:30 am with entertainment, dining and great eats from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Dozens of community organizations work together to benefit each other while providing thousands of island residents and visitors a chance to sample a variety of craft beers, taste island-style cuisine from some of the Big Island’s best restaurants and enjoy an afternoon of fabulous, live entertainment. Since the event’s inception, it has raised $1.44 million for island non-profit organizations.
