Big Island

Why Puako should be renamed “Honu Beach”

Living and working Puako Beach real estate means that occasionally I forget what an amazing natural wonderland is the Big Island’s Kohala Coast.

Luckily, when I hit the beach there is nearly always a Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle hanging around

(This video was taken on my birthday, June 19th, on the beach in front of my house in Puako. Hau’oli la hanau to me!)

Looking for a slice of Honu Heaven to call your own? Contact me for more information on available listings in Puako Beach. We have knowledge of many other Puako properties not currently on the market with owners willing to sell.

Love the Honu… but they sure are expensive for those video shoots. They must have the same agent as Mr. Nui.

Party in Puako – Friday July 23rd! « Hawaii Real Estate Market

July 21, 2010

[…] When I agreed to open the “office” for Hawaii Life Real Estate Services in February, 2009, I understood  our best retail space to be our company website, where we receive 40,000-60,000 unique visitors every month. Being born and raised in Los Gatos in the heart of the Silicon Valley, the concept of working virtually didn’t phase me in the least. After all, isn’t that what technology is for? To afford us the opportunity to work where we want to work? After six years of commuting to an office in wet, rainy Waimea town, where I had to wear closed-toed shoes to keep warm (in Hawaii! Who knew?), I was more than ready and eager to work from home in a bikini and pareo, across the street from the ocean in beloved neighborhood of Puako Beach. […]
