What I love about Papakea is the wide-open feel, also it does not feel busy even during high season. The parking lot is covered in Monkey pod trees adding plenty of shade. The front desk is there to great your guests for their arrival, provide a complex map, and provide insight on activities available to guests.

The seawall upgrades, and complex remodeling have all been completed so no need to be concerned about construction interrupting your vacation. Many locations in West Maui are restoring their seawall, experiencing shoreline issues, but you are free of any hassles at Papakea! Enjoy the beautiful green grass for basking by the ocean. No beach directly in front of Papakea, but just to the south past Kaanapali Shores guests can put their toes in the sand.

I believe Aston now charges approx 35%. Also, their program is a pool and rental income is equally distributed between units in the same category.
