Seventh Home Release
Makamae is now on its seventh home release. There were 3 homes released in January 2022. A plan 2, 3 and 4 was released. Plan 2 sold for $921,000 with a lot size of 3,796 sqft. The plan 3 sold for $964,500 with a lot size of 3,796 sqft. The plan 4 sold for $994,000 with a lot size of 5,016 sqft.
Now let’s talk about the waiting list. In order to purchase a home at Makamae, these homes are by waiting list only. There will be no lotteries for Makamae.
As of January 2022, the waiting list is around 280 or so. What this means is, if your name was added to the waiting list now, it’ll take about 2 1/2 years or more to be possibly offered a home.
Makamae is a 3-year project and they’re on sales release #7 and have released 31 homes in total but 3 homes went to the VIP’s and 28 homes have sold to the public. I wanted to make a quick not about the video I shot for Makamae phase 6, The numbers were wrong for the released homes, my apologies.
Makamae will have a total of 150 homes so they’re still really early in the sales process. There still is a chance if you are interested in Makamae. The best advice I can give you about purchasing one of these homes is to get on the waiting list if you’re interested. You never know what’s going to happen in the future.
How to Get on the Waiting List?
So how do you get on the waiting list or see the model homes? To get on the waiting list or to visit the model homes at Makamae, Gentry has a process in place. You cannot walk up to the sales office and expect to see the model homes. They will literally turn you away at the door. If you’re interested in similar homes like Makamae, Gentry will be building another single-family home development in the future in Kapolei behind Costco. The new community is a part of a master-planned development in Kalaeloa.
