What’s the latest news about Makamae by Gentry Homes? Well, I’ve got some good news for you. In this video, I’m going to give you a quick update on these new homes for sale in Oahu Hawaii.

Eighth Home Release

Makamae is now on its eighth home release. There were 3 homes released in February 2022. A plan 1, 3 and 4 were released. The plan 1 sold for $951,100 with a lot size of 3,796 sqft.

Plan 3 sold for $1,017,500 with a lot size of 5,021 sqft. The plan 4 sold for $1,010,500 with a lot size of 3,796 sqft.

Waiting List

Now let’s talk about the waiting list. In order to purchase a home at Makamae, these homes are by waiting list only. There will be no lotteries for Makamae.

As of February 2022, the waiting list is around 290 or so. What this means is, if your name was added to the waiting list now, it might take about 2 1/2 years or more to be possibly offered a home.

Makamae is a 3-year project and they’re on sales release #8 and have released 34 homes in total but 3 homes went to the VIPs and 31 homes have sold to the public. Makamae will have a total of 150 homes.

There still is a chance if you are interested in Makamae. The best advice I can give you about purchasing one of these homes is to get on the waiting list if you’re interested. You never know what’s going to happen in the future. Plus not all buyers on the waiting list will purchase one of these homes.

So how do you get on the waiting list or see the model homes?

To get on the waiting list or to visit the model homes at Makamae, Gentry has a process in place. You cannot walk up to the sales office and expect to see the model homes. Kalaeloa

If you’re interested in similar homes like Makamae, Gentry will be building another single-family home development in the future in Kapolei behind Costco. The new community is a part of a master-planned development in Kalaeloa.
