Napili Bay, Upper West Maui – A Day in the Life

Have you ever wondered how you could experience Hawaii like it was in days past? Maybe like it was when Elvis Presley was touring the islands? Or maybe Duke Kahanamoku, world surfing champion, well before Kelly Slater was born?

Unfortunately, the only way to experience this would be with a time machine. However, a visit to the world-famous crescent-shaped white sand beach known as Napili Bay in upper West Maui is pretty darn close. The condominiums that are located on this shoreline were all built with the past county restrictions of no higher than the palm trees.

While we don’t have access to a time machine for you, you can get your beach chair, paddle board, kayaks, snorkel gear, or just a good book and head out to the bay and dig your toes in the sand, just the same as they did in the nostalgic days of the fifties and sixties.

You can begin the day with a fantastic breakfast at Gazebos, arguably the best breakfast in West Maui. Then in the late afternoon, have pupus (appetizers) at the happy hour in the Sea House Restaurant, which is unbelievably good and extremely well priced. Then in the evening, for fine dining, Merriman’s has probably one of the best locations on the planet for a restaurant, complemented by world-class meals every night.

I invite you to preview the drone footage of Napili Bay in the video below.

Put My Experience to Work For You

My family and I feel very blessed to have called West Maui home for over 25 years. I have been fortunate to have been assisting Maui buyers and sellers here for well over a decade – you can put my experience to work for you too. If you would like to arrange to see this or any other West Maui properties, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Aloha,
