Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society and the Fairmont Kea Lani bring you Gathering of the Voyagers. This will be a 3-day event. Friday morning begins with a blessing ceremony at 6:00 am and opening ceremony with arrival of the voyagers at 7:00 am at Polo Beach. Kimberly Akimbo at ProArts Maui

Kimberly Akimbo is still playing at ProArts Maui. The show will run through October 15th with showtimes at 7:30 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and 2:00 pm on Sundays. This is a heartwarming and funny tale of a young woman finding light in the darkest of situations. Written by David Linsday-Abaire and directed by Carrigan O’Brian.  Run time is just over 2 hours with a 15-minute intervention. Tickets range from $25-$40.

“The Comedy of the Year. A haunting and hilarious new play. Mr. Lindsay-Abaire is an expert at tweaking, skewing and finally inverting established formulas. His plays tend to slide right out of predetermined pigeonholes. ‘KIMBERLY AKIMBO’ is at once a shrewd satire, a black comedy and a heartbreaking study of how time wounds everyone.” – The New York Times

The Rocky Horror Show at The Historic Iao Theater

The Rocky Horror Show is back at the Historic Iao Theater. The show celebrates its 50thanniversary this year. The show runs through October. Showtimes every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Halloween night. Showtimes are 7:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays and Halloween night and 3:00 pm on Sundays.
