Maui Weekend Events November 3 and Happy Anniversary Pet Shop Maui
Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui brings the always anticipated Made in Maui Festival. We also have the Arbor Day Garden expo & Tree Giveaway taking place this Saturday. And ProArts Maui is delivering a Songwriter Showcase featuring 4 of Maui’s most talented songwriters on Saturday. Sunday brings Eric Gilliom’s “White Hawaiian” back weekly by popular demand. I’m also proud to share with you the family business, Pet Shop Maui, is celebrating 50 years this weekend with a sale. Come on by and say hi!
2023 Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival
The Made in Maui County Festival takes place this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Check out food, art, crafts, jewelry, fashion, furniture, gifts, collectibles and more made by our talented local artists and artisans. The festival features over 140 local vendors and 12 food trucks. Main event happens on Saturday and includes live entertainment, fashion shows and prize giveaways. Serious shoppers can attend the buyers preview and exclusive shopping day on Friday.
20th Annual Arbor Day Garden Expo & Tree Giveaway
Celebrate Arbor Day at the Maui Nui Botanical Garden. The Garden Expo & Tree Giveaway take place on Saturday from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. There will be tree and plant care lectures, free hands-on Hawaiian cultural activities, conservation organizations, plants for sale, and a giveaway of more than 2,500 Hawaiian trees. This year will focus a lot on post fire tree and plant topics. No reservations necessary. Must be present for free tree giveaway. This event will be a drop-off location for the Maui Foodbank.
ProArts Playhouse Maui
ProArts Playhouse brings you the Maui Songwriter Showcase Rounds on Saturday. Show starts at 7:30 pm. The showcase features 4 of Maui’s most talented songwriters sharing their stories behind the music. Featured artists are Anthony Pfluke, Sikly Sister, Justin Morris and Sara Jelley. Sunday night brings the return of Eric Gilliom’s White Hawaiian. This show is so in-demand that is will be featured weekly on Sundays. Start time this week is 3:00 pm.
