Maui Weekend Events – March 24
Aloha friends! A long weekend is upon us as we honor Prince Kuhio Day on Monday. We kick off the weekend this Friday with Kihei 4th Friday and then have a couple opportunities to contribute on Saturday. First, Ho’omau 2023 is an all-day event to benefit the students at Pūnana Leo O Maui. Then later, we can benefit the Maui Humane Society with poolside beats, cocktails, and pupus at the Andaz.
The 36th Annual Ho’omau takes place this Saturday from 9:00 am to sunset at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Event benefits the students at Pūnana Leo O Maui, the Hawaiian language immersion preschool located in Wailuku. Live music all day by local favorites including Ikaika Blackburn, Kaulike Pescaia, Sean Parks, Hoʻaikāne, Kalani Peʻa, WEHILEI, Nuff Sedd, and Sudden Rush. Hālau Kekuaokalāʻauʻalaʻiliahi will also perform. Also on site will be Hawaiian crafters and demonstrators, local vendors from all over the island offering food and a keiki zone. Silent auction with some great items also on deck.
