Aloha friends! School’s out and it’s officially summer on Maui! Congratulations again to all the graduates and families. It was a great weekend of BBQs and celebrating graduates on my end. This weekend, we have Art Mix to look forward to. Back for the first time since Covid, it’s sure to be a hit. Also happening Saturday night is Habitat for Humanity Maui’s Silver Hammer Anniversary Gala at the Andaz Maui. The first race of Regatta Season takes place this Saturday morning out of Kahului Harbor. Art = Mixx is back at the MACC! This year’s theme is Instinct tying back to the current Anima: Doorways of Perception exhibit. I am really looking forward to seeing the costumes people come up with for this theme. This is truly one of the best parties on Maui and everyone comes. This is a free event for anyone over 21. Doors open at 7:00 pm. VIP passes are available for $45 plus fees, etc. Music by DJs Boomshot and Sole, Konkoba Drum & Dance Ensemble, Performing Artists and Interactive Art & Installations by Athena Medina. Food and beverages will be available throughout the evening.

Habitat for Humanity Maui is hosting their Silver Hammer Anniversary Gala this Saturday night. The Gala will be held at the Andaz Maui. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Tickets range from $275 to $1,000. Festivities include a dinner buffet, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and casino games. Besides tickets to the Gala, you can also purchase program ad space to contribute to this great cause.

Party @ The Empanada Lady Every Friday

The Empanada Lady Restaurant and Lounge is hosting a Friday Night Pau Hana dance party. This is one of my favorite stops for delicious food. Happy hour is 5-6. DJ will be playing West Coast House. Stop in for some great food and dance your way into the weekend.
