Maui Weekend Events – January 5

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui is the first of 2024. Happy New Year! We’ve got some great live music options this weekend. Arlie Asiu will be playing at Mulligan’s Saturday night. Old Dominion shows Maui some love at the MACC also on Saturday night. ProArts Maui also offers more great music options and some laughs this weekend. Fast Freddy’s Blues Showcase Series is presented this Friday night. More music on Saturday night with Gabriel Mark Hasselbach & Band. On Sunday afternoon, Eric Gilliom’s “White Hawaiian” takes the stage.

Old Dominion – No Bad Vibes Tour

Old Dominion opens up their international tour in Hawaii this weekend. They will be at the MACC’s Yokouchi Pavilion and A&B Amphitheater this Saturday. This show is a featured concert of the Maui Songwriters Festival. Show starts at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 5:00 pm. This event is a collection for the Maui Food Bank supporting our neighbors affected by the wildfires.

Arlie Asiu Band – Ukulele Shaka Rock

For another music option this Saturday night, head down to Mulligan’s on the Blue for The Arlie Asiu Band.  They will be playing between 6:30 and 8:30 pm.  RSVP here.

ProArts Playhouse Maui

ProArts Playhouse presents Fast Fred’s Blues Showcase Series this Friday night. The feature for this show is Adrian Trevino and Kevin Coleman. Show starts at 7:30 pm. Jazz Maui Presents Gabriel Mark Hasselback & Band on Saturday night. Show starts at 7:30 pm. Sunday afternoon you can catch the local favorite Eric Gilliom’s “White Hawaiian”. This show is so in demand that it is featured weekly on Sundays. Start time this week is 3:00 pm.
