Maui Weekend and Mother’s Day Brunch 2023

Aloha friends! Happy Mother’s Day weekend. This weekend ahead offers some fun options. I will share some of those as well as some of the delicious Mother’s Day brunch options we have access to on Maui. In addition to brunch options, you can also head to the Ku’ia Estates for a chocolate tasting. Recurring events this weekend include Lahaina 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday at the Kihei Oasis. I hope no matter what you do, you take the time to honor the special ladies in your life. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mother figures blessing our lives always.

Mother’s Day Brunch Options

Mother’s Day Brunch at Grand Wailea

The Grand Wailea is serving Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 am – 2 pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hale Makua. Cold selections include a proper seafood display with gulf shrimp, snow crab legs & claws, lobster claws and oysters along with all the sauces. Sushi rolls, poke, smoked salmon, salads, cheese and charcuterie also offered. Hot selections include local favorite kimchee fried rice loco moco, Kona lobster mac & cheese, omelet station and dim sum. Carvery features smoked prime rib, roasted spiral ham and honey lavender glazed roasted turkey. Save room for dessert as there are some great options to satisfy your sweet tooth as well.  The buffet is priced at $175.

The Plantation House Restaurant at the Kapalua Resort

The Plantation House in Kapalua is hosting Mother’s Day brunch buffet running from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. They will be serving up shrimp cocktail, snow crab legs, lobster, as well as sushi display. Besides that, all your favorite brunch offerings will be on hand including omelet station, smoked salmon and bagel display, eggs benedict, banana bread French toast and all your breakfast favorites. Prime rib carving station and pineapple guava glazed ham all on hand.  The buffet is priced at $125 for adults and $25 for kids under 12. Check out the full menu here.

Cane and Canoe at the Montage

Cane and Canoe is offering a Mother’s Day brunch that is not a buffet for those that prefer ordering off the menu.  Brunch starts early at 7:00 am and runs until 1:30 pm. Menu features 3 different eggs benedict, malasadas, roasted lobster, oysters, Hamachi tartare, prime rib, and steak frite. Check out the full menu here.

Hali’imaile General Store

Haliimaile General Store never disappoints and they are hosting a Mother’s Day brunch buffet beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Entrees include scrambled eggs with all the fixings and prime rib au jus. Seafood bar features shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon platter and crab dip. Salad bar and desserts also offered. The buffet is priced at $68 for adults and $28 for kids aged 6-8.  Check out the full menu and make reservations here.

Ka’ana Kitchen at the Andaz

Ka’ana Kitchen at the Andaz is arguably the best breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch on the island. The mochi waffles are worth the price of admission. Mother’s Day Brunch runs from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Usual stations include pastries, fruit, charcuterie, omelet station, as well as all the usual breakfast fixings. Special for Mother’s Day this Sunday brunch will include snow crab legs, king crab legs, shrimp cocktail as cedar board salmon dynamite, Crispy Korean fried chcken and prime rib. The buffet is priced at $135 for adults and $67.50 for children over 5 years.  RSVP is required and can be made by calling 808-573-1234 or at OpenTable where you can also view the full menu.

Mother’s Day Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Tasting

If you’re looking for something a little lighter than brunch, you can head to the Ku’ia Estate and be led through three flights of chocolate this Sunday from 11 am until noon. All proceeds this Sunday will benefit the Maui Humane Society. Enjoy gorgeous 360 degree views from the second story open air pavilion while indulging in beautiful locally crafted chocolates. Lahaina 2nd Friday Town Party

Maui Friday Town Parties bring the community together for a pau hana night of music, art, food, and Maui culture.  Friday night is Art Night in Lahaina every week. Each Friday from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, enjoy special gallery shows, featured artist-in-action and refreshments as you stroll through dozens of art galleries. Lahaina is dubbed “The Art Capital of the Pacific” because it has more art galleries per capita than any other American town. 2nd Friday brings additional local vendors to the party. Maui Gardens 2nd Saturday

South Maui Gardens – Hidden Oasis of Kihei hosts a community party every second Saturday of the month. This is a BYOB event and features eight local favorite food trucks. Also on deck is our local Reggae Ambassador Marty Dread with live music and dancing from 6 – 8 pm. This is a free event, but reservations are recommended. You can reserve your spot at Eventbrite 2nd Saturdays tickets.

Why are you still promoting “Lahaina 2nd Friday Town Party” in May 2024 when the fires burnt down Lahaina in August 2023. Please update your page. This is outdated and disrespectful.
