Hawaii Food and Wine Festival

This is the premiere epicurean event for the entire state of Hawaii. With events now spanning three different islands, it is a treat to be able to participate here on Maui in beautiful Kaanapali. The festival spans the entire weekend with events taking place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The festival tees off Friday morning with the 25th Annual Roy Yamaguchi Golf Classic. Next, the festival takes us to the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa for the Big, Bold and Beautiful wine tasting event on Saturday night. This evening will also feature pairings created by an all-star lineup of chefs and craft cocktails prepared by master mixologists. My cousin Troy Guard is one of the featured chefs from TAG Restaurant Group in Denver. He is sure to impress and I am excited to be a part of this event on Saturday. Hope to see you there. Tickets may still be available. Reach out if you need help finding a couple.

Finally, the Maui portion of the HFWF finishes with Stars, Beards and Diamonds at the Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows. Enjoy a 5-course meal of culinary excellence prepared by highly honored and recognized chefs. This is the culinary VIP event of the year!

Kaanapali Condo Market Update

A few months ago, I wrote a market update blog on Kaanapali Alii through mid-year. (See why Kaanapali Alii is my favorite condo complex on the West Side here.) In this blog, I will give you a peak at what’s happening at all the condo complexes in Kaanapali.

With 131 condos sold in Kaanapali this year, here’s how the numbers lay out. If the market is slowing down, the condo market in Kaanapali did not get the message! YTD Average Prices are up YOY while YTD average days on market are down. We are seeing a lower number of closed sales and dollar volume YTD. However, with inventories remaining steady or even down YTD, this reduction in volume and sales is not for lack of demand.

Sold Condominiums Sold – 131
