Maui Events and Market Update – July 4th Weekend

Aloha friends! It’s a festive weekend on Maui, with rodeo action Upcountry, Fourth of July celebrations along the coast, live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the island. I’ve rounded up a few happenings to keep on your radar, plus a quick real estate update and some noteworthy listings as we move into July.

Makawao Stampede Rodeo

The Makawao Stampede Rodeo starts this Friday! Gates open at 3:00 pm. Concert starts at 5:00 pm and the fan favorite bull bash starts at 7:00 pm. They are switching it up this year with the first night rodeo performance on Saturday holding the same schedule as Friday. Sunday, gates open at 10:00 am and show starts at 11:00. Championship performance begins at 1 pm. Food, crafts, and prizes make for fun and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Flowerworks Festival at Outrigger Kaanapali

The Outrigger Kaanapali is hosting a summer celebration of flowers, food and music.  The morning starts with the Flowerworks Festival which will run from 10 am – 2 pm.   Celebrate the 4^th of July with family activities, local artists, live music and more. Flowerworks at 11 am at the Ulu lawn. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters will shower flowers from the sky. Gather the flowers and head over to Hale Hema where the Kawecultural cultural team will show you how to weave your blooms in to a lei you can take home.

Celebrate in Paradise

Maui Brew Co, Beach Chair Bandits, Andrew Stauffer, and Rodrigo Moraes present 4^th of July Celebrate in Paradise at the Maui Brew Co in Kaanapali. DJ’s on the Lawn from 1 – 6 pm and live music on stage from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Celebrate the 4^th of July all day at MBC Kaanapali. This will be a family friendly event but bring your dancing shoes for the beats in store.

A July 4^th Concert Experience with Dasha

The Ritz Carlton Kapalua presents A July 4^th Concert Experience with Dasha in what is sure to be an unforgettable night of music. Dasha was recently nominated for 2026 ACM New Female Country Artist of the Year. Opening acts TJ Favella, Tiara Gomes, and Akoni Palomino will set the scene right. VIP and general admission tickets available. Opening acts start at 6:30 pm and Dasha takes the stage from 8 – 9 pm.

4^th of July Celebration – The Westin Maui Resort & Spa

The Westin is going all out this year to celebrate the 4^th of July with a whole line up of activities, offerings and entertainment. Festivities include 4^th of July drone show, and live music by Adrian Trevino. This will be a whole day celebration starting with Keiki activities at 10 am and ending with 4^th of July Karaoke. Oceanfront BBQ from 11am – 3 pm and Selawe’s Wing-Eating Contest at 2 pm will keep your bellies full during the day.

MCHCA Regatta Season

Happy Independence Day.  This is a bye week and there is no race. Check out Hawaiian Canoe Club for Race Schedule and more.

Market Update

Uncertainty continues with Maui Real Estate as non-residential owners are beginning to look elsewhere and regulations are hastening the process for them.
