Lahaina Crossfit Offers Healthy Vacation Options

Coming to Maui on traincation (workout and hard on vacation)? There are some great Crossfit locations! The main problem with this is you may fall in love with this beautiful island and want to live here.

Lahaina Crossfit is an amazing Box with the most welcoming crowd there is! Coach Anthony and his crew of coaches are fantastic. Friday evening classes are my favorite because we would go get humongous cheeseburgers and shakes from Teddy’s Bigger Burger. Lahaina boasts some great buys right in town, Opukea for one, where you can literally run 500 meters to your Box.

Choice is the health food bar of choice, located right behind the complex. There is a wonderful community of Crossfitters who hit the Box then Choice or Teddy’s Bigger Burger, which is across the street.

Opukea is a condo complex that offers a pool and large living area right in the heart of town. If a townhome is more up your alley, there is Hoonanea, right next door. If you are looking for a single family home on the west side, there are homes in Launiupoko up to Kapalua. So if you’re moving to Maui on $500,000 or $5,000,000, there is a place for you on the west side.

Not on the West Side?

If you are looking to live more central, there is also an awesome Crossfit community there as well. Aloha Crossfit is right in Kahului town, some fun loving, motivated people there. I find that they have some of the nicest and most genuine people to get to know.

There is no better way to get familiar with your new island than finding yourself surrounded by motivated and helpful people. Living here on Maui can and usually does inspire you to live a more healthy lifestyle. It’s a place where you can spend most of your day in workout clothes (board shorts and t-shirt). That factor alone can keep you on your fitness goals.
