Your Next Oceanfront Purchase? Kuki'o "Art" Estate For Sale

One of the wonderful aspects of my job is having the opportunity to see amazing homes for sale, like this one, listed for $25M, oceanfront, Kukio.

Asking $25M (MLS# 241353) sits oceanfront at Kukio and is listed by Carrie Nicholson of Kukio Properties

Sometimes a special property comes along that stands out—and I keep thinking about it, and thinking about it, and thinking about it. This is one of those estates. It’s not the layout or finishes that’s spectacular, nor is it the spectacular location—closer to the water and you’re breaching with the whales—that makes this estate memorable. It’s the art on the walls, and the ceiling, and just about everywhere you look. The art is stunning.

Here’s a quick and dirty 2010 market update for Kuki’o: 15 homes and 20 parcels of land changed hands in Kukio in 2010. From a low of $3.55M to a high of $11.7M for an estate home, and a low of $800k to a high of $5.99M for land.

That’s a lot of luxury property that sold in a single development in one of the worst economies in history. Kukio is definitely special!

Yes Katie, I too loved this house and its quality and unique interior. It is a wonderful private subdivision with ocean sports theme. (which is my favorite) and Tom Fasio Golf courses for owners. There are some great prices available here too.

I loved the kitchen myself. Built to handle a caterer but really built for someone who loves to cook. You stand at the counter chopping and look out at the waves crashing. Thats my dream for a vacation home. Katie I know you and yours would be to have the staff in there cooking. This home works for both.

Heidi and Erik – so wonderful to see you Thursday night at Kukio! Wasn’t the whale show spectacular?? I love how we are all such different people with different priorities and yet this estate home “works” for all of us for different reasons! Of course, now I just need to dig up $25M… do you think the owners will leave the art??
