As promised, I was able to get back on the Kualono property last Friday. As usual, Haleakala gathers clouds during the afternoon and the mountain is protected from open view. The mornings typically offer a crystal clear view of Haleakala as was the case today. The West Maui Mountains, or Mauna Kahalawai, had cloud cover, typical of a trade wind day where moisture-filled clouds stack up over Wailuku and provide generous rainfall as we have seen these past few months.
Here is a look at the video views from a variety of lots. Again, terrible announcer with some wind, unedited one-take videos for your use. Please notice the topography for lot selection for views, grading; other homes will be built on each lot so views will not remain this open.
