Kauai Condominium Real Estate Sales Year End Review 2023

The increase in home prices gifted Kauai condominium sellers with a good year despite the headwinds of rising interest rates. Kauai condominium sales had a strong finish at the end of 2023, the number of sales are down and the Median Prices are up in every area of the island.

Interest rates are predicted to soften this year and I’m hoping that will bring an end to the wild swings we’ve been having for the last three years. What is still with us is a lack of inventory, I would think with the lowering of interest rates that more Buyers will enter the market this year putting a strain on our already low inventory.
