Kaneohe Waterfront Home Reduced by $50K on Oahu

Looking for a waterfront home in Windward Oahu near a private marina? Here you go.

44005 Aumoana Place (MLS# 1015560) was just reduced by $50,000 to $1,199,000

Imagine coming home to beautiful views of Kaneohe Bay everyday. This mid-century modern home sits on over a third of an acre on the ocean. There aren’t too many places on Oahu to launch a boat from your backdoor.

There is the Marina in Hawaii Kai, or if you have a little more money to spend, there’s some other spots nearby in Kaneohe that are really nice. This home originally was listed for $1,695,000 last year and now is looking very attractive.

Hi, David: While searching various sites and dreaming of living and working in HI, I came across your site. I’m just trying to get started somewhere to see if I could make my dream a reality. I am a paralegal and legal assistant working in downtown Atlanta and living in the suburbs. I am so tired of the mainland and would love to be able to move to HI to live and work. I have family there – my brother and his fiance. My son lived with them for 4 months but had to return home – he loved it and would like to go to UH. I don’t know what I would be able to make salary-wise in Honolulu in my profession, but if I could swing a decent salary, I wouldn’t mind commuting in to Honolulu if I had to live outside of it in order to find something I could afford. I’m thinking of selling my home or renting it out to do this, and in this bad economy not sure whether I could get my money out of it or not. I would love to have some general feedback at your convenience to get an idea. Thank you in advance for any ideas, etc.
